Old Penny is a warm chestnut brown mica powder with rich coppery undertones and a soft metallic glow, like a well-worn coin warmed by years of handling. Bloom Mica Powder Pigments are specially formulated to blend seamlessly with a wide range of creative mediums, including epoxy resin, Eco Pour, concrete casting mediums, acrylic paints, card making, paint making and much more. They offer an easy and effective way to introduce rich, vibrant colour and stunning effects into your creative projects.

Bloom Mica Powders are designed to deliver not only beautiful colour but also excellent durability, helping your resin and craft creations maintain their brilliance over time.

Each pigment is supplied in an easy-to-use pot or bag, allowing for precise colour control. Simply add more or less pigment to achieve anything from delicate translucent effects to bold, highly saturated finishes.

All Bloom Mica Powders offer excellent UV stability and are formulated to resist fading or colour change when exposed to UV light, even without the use of a protective topcoat. Colours can also be lightened or intensified by adjusting the amount of pigment used.


Mica is a naturally occurring mineral that is widely used in artistic, industrial and cosmetic applications. When handled responsibly and used as intended, mica pigments are suitable for a wide range of creative craft projects.


Our mica pigment powders are intended for use in resin art, mixed media and other creative craft applications. While safe to handle when used as directed, they are not certified as cosmetic grade and have not been tested or approved for application to the skin, lips or eyes.
