Meet the Family! Let's start with our Lou! This is Lou, the founder of chaos, Ahem.....we mean Create and Bloom Crafts. Lou is the colourful heart behind the brand; she'll mostly show up 'winging it'.
Lou is passionate about bringing people together through creativity, community, and a shared love for all things crafty.
Whether you’re looking for private art tuition, eager to dive into the resin world, wanting to boost your social media confidence, or simply craving a bit of joyful ‘me time’, Lou has created the perfect space for you.
She’s gathered a treasure trove of craft supplies, from paints, pigments, glitters, and moulds to tools, creative kits, and far too many epoxy resin goodies (because, honestly, you can never have too many!).
Lou believes in the transformative power of art and imagination and invites you to experience it for yourself, whether in the beautiful, spacious studio, in your own space, or online through video calls and Zoom sessions.
She also creates bespoke craft kits for parties and events, lovingly designed with 2–4 weeks’ notice to make every detail just right. Lou is the spark that makes Create and Bloom shine.
Double Trouble
Ellie & Molly
Every thriving creative space needs a little sparkle and a whole lot of mischief, and that’s exactly what Ellie and Molly bring.
Known affectionately as Double Trouble, they are the chief potters of glitter and chaos, always ready to sprinkle magic (and a bit of mayhem) into the studio.
Their laughter fills the space, their energy keeps the creativity flowing, and their curious hands remind us that crafting is meant to be joyful, messy, and full of heart.
Create and Bloom simply wouldn’t shine as brightly without them.

Gary and Katie
Every small business has people behind the scenes who quietly keep everything from falling apart.
For Create & Bloom, that’s Gary and Katie.
Officially, they don’t work in the studio. Unofficially, Lou has taken over their home instead. Secret glitter is mixed there, kits are assembled there, and there’s a very real chance that no surface is safe from Create & Bloom.
Gary and Katie are our undercover squirrels, quietly working behind the scenes, fixing things, carrying things, finding things, making things and generally dealing with whatever fresh chaos Lou has dreamt up that particular day.
They are the rocks of support and towers of strength behind a woman who regularly has 37 ideas before breakfast and believes “it’ll be fine” is a perfectly acceptable business strategy.
From emergency DIY and heavy lifting to sensible advice, crisis management and the occasional gentle reminder that Lou is, in fact, only one human being, they’re always there.

Carolyn
Every creative journey needs a steady hand and a kindred spirit, and for Create & Bloom, that’s Carolyn.
More than the teams best friend, she’s an extraordinary artist, a master organiser, and the person who keeps everything beautifully balanced behind the scenes. Her support, laughter, and unwavering kindness is poured into every part of Create and Bloom.
Carolyn is the quiet magic that holds it all together, proof that friendship, creativity, and heart can build something truly special.
Head of Cardboard Destruction
Pickles
Every studio needs a leader, and at Create and Bloom, that honour belongs to Pickles, the man of the studio.
With his watchful eyes, wagging tail, and impeccable talent for cardboard box destruction, he oversees every creative moment like a true pro.
Whether he’s supervising glitter spills, greeting visitors with enthusiasm, or taking his “box-munching duties” very seriously, Pickles brings joy, warmth, and plenty of laughter to the space especially at Art Therapy sessions.
He may not wield a paintbrush, but his presence is pure magic.

Sid
We love our pooches at Create & Bloom, so we certainly couldn’t leave out Sid, Katie and Gary’s four-legged accomplice and an essential part of the undercover squirrel operation.
With their house regularly doubling as Create & Bloom’s secret production facility, Lou often arrives with a car rammed with glitter, pigments, kits and general creative chaos.
That’s when Sid springs into action as Head of Driveway Operations, enthusiastically guiding Lou onto the drive and supervising every delivery.
Small, speedy and slightly unhinged, Sid takes his responsibilities very seriously.
No hi-vis. No qualifications. Just four paws and an unwavering commitment to getting Lou safely onto the drive. 😂
