Shipwreck island – RETREAT - SUN 24th MAY, DAY 3, WORKSHOP 3 3pm - 5pm

Step onto the shore of a forgotten island, where time has softened the edges of everything and stories lie half-buried in the sand. In this immersive creative Apex Resins workshop, you’ll design and pour a layered mixed-media resin artwork using Epoxy resin, glitter and the well-loved Bloom Textures.

Inspired by shipwrecks, tides, and hidden treasures, this session invites you to explore weathered surfaces, ocean-washed colours, and tactile details. Think rusted metal tones, sea-glass hues, driftwood textures, and the quiet mystery of objects lost and found. 

This is a gentle, guided workshop where experimentation is encouraged and perfection is left at the door. You’ll be shown techniques for experimenting with colour in your resin and composing a balanced scene, while still having complete freedom to interpret the theme in your own way. Whether your island feels calm and nostalgic or dark and dramatic is entirely up to you.

Perfect for beginners and experienced creatives alike, this workshop is about slowing down, getting lost in the process, and reconnecting with your creative curiosity.

You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss next steps, should you wish to proceed with an additional layer of resin once your piece has returned home.

This workshop includes postage to return your work to you. 

Terms and Conditions for all Classes and Workshops

1. General Policy

By enrolling in any class or workshop offered by Create and Bloom, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding cancellations, no-shows, and refunds.

2. No Refund Policy

All payments for classes and workshops are non-refundable. This includes situations where you cancel your enrollment or do not attend the class (no-show).

3. Credit Notes

At the sole discretion of Create and Bloom Crafts Ltd, a credit note may be issued for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the scheduled class or workshop. Requests for credit notes must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For example, frequent requests for refunds or no-shows, may not be granted.

4. Notification of Cancellation

If you need to cancel your attendance, please inform us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class will not qualify for a credit note or any refund.

5. Changes to Classes

Create and Bloom reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes and workshops due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by us, participants will be notified and offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.

6. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in a class or workshop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
