1. Remove all bark and debris before pouring resin.
   Gently use a chisel and small hammer, tapping along the edge to lift and break off the bark. This helps reveal the clean, natural edge of the wood. Once removed, sand away any remaining debris or loose fibres, this prevents bits from floating into your resin pour and ensures a smooth, professional finish.
2. Seal your wood before pouring resin.
   If you’ve gilded or decorated your wood surface, apply a thin coat of clear resin or wood sealant to protect those details before your main pour.
