Bloom Finish - GLOSSY All-in-One Fixative Sealant for Art and Crafts

Bloom Finish is a professional water-based acrylic varnish designed to seal, protect, and enhance decorative surfaces for indoor and outdoor use.

Developed for artistic and creative applications, it provides a clear, non-yellowing gloss finish that helps protect artwork from everyday wear and UV exposure.

This versatile varnish offers excellent adhesion across a wide range of materials, including resin, Eco Pour, composite surfaces, wood, plaster, cement, brick, natural stone, canvas, and mixed media artwork. Bloom Finish enhances colour depth while creating a smooth, durable protective layer.

Apply neat for a high-gloss finish, or dilute with water to reduce shine and improve flow, depending on your application technique.

Important information for candle vessels:
Bloom Finish may tolerate residual warmth on the outside of a candle vessel during normal use. However, it should not be relied on as a heat-barrier or safety coating and is not classed as heat resistant. It is intended for decorative surface protection only and should not be used where direct heat exposure is expected.

How to Use:
Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust or debris.
Mixing: Stir well before use. Dilute with 5–10% water if required for smoother application.
Application: Apply thin, even coats. Multiple thin layers are recommended for best results; use a brush or an atomizer. 

Drying Times (approximate):

• Touch dry: 30–60 minutes
• Recoat time: 2 hours
• Fully cured: 24 hours

Drying times may vary depending on temperature, humidity, and surface type. Protect curing pieces from dust and debris.

Suitable For:

• Sealing resin art and decorative pieces
• Eco Pour and composite creations
• Mixed media artwork and murals
• Wood, plaster, brick, cement, and natural stone surfaces
• Decorative candle vessels (external surfaces only) - Not if the flame is 'direct touching'. 

Store at room temperature. Use within 12 months of opening.

Top Tip: Bloom Finish dries glossy. Dilute with water for a less shiny finish.
